Five teams of third- and fourth-year students from Kookmin University's College of Architecture spent a semester working on creating a co-residential architecture that captures the local character of Jeongneung and provides a backdrop for the happy lives of its residents through the Seoul Metropolitan Government's University Cooperation Moa Housing Moa Town Project.
As a result, the team of Park Hyun woo, Lee Tae hyung, and Han Hye Won from Kookmin University's College of Architecture (advisor Mo Seong Beom) won the excellence award at the '2024 University Cooperation Moa Housing-Moa Town Project' performance sharing event organized by the Seoul Metropolitan Government.

'Moa Town' is a project to collect and redevelop old low-rise residential areas within 100,000 square meters that are difficult to redevelop on a large scale.
The Seoul Metropolitan Government first launched the project in March 2023 to discover new business development models and innovative design ideas by linking classes with universities (Won), and this year, 12 universities, including Kookmin University, conducted the project in conjunction with classes on the theme of Moa Town.

At the 'Work Exhibition', which will be held the day after the achievement sharing session, each university will exhibit a model (panel) that embodies the idea of Moa Town, project videos, and written impressions through an assigned booth, and can be viewed from July 9 to August 18 at the Seoul Urban Architecture Exhibition Center.
