The Eurasian Research Center in our school held a joint special seminar regarding Putin’s return to power and Russia’s future at The International Conference Center in Bank Hall, at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies campus on March 6 along with Hong Wan-seok, the manager of the Russian Research Center at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies and Um Gu-ho, the manager of the Asia-Pacific area research center at Hanyang University.
This joint seminar which was held with the support of the Hankuk Research Foundation discussed Russia’s President Putin’s return to power, prospected and analyzed on relationships of nuclear security, diplomacy, and economy from the influence of Russia’s future policy on South Korea, North Korea and neighboring countries.
This is the first joint seminar with 3 leading university centers focused on
Russia, specifically after Russia’s big election, which has caught major
academic, press, financial and political attention.
