Hyundai Motors Corporation had a donation ceremony for Kookmin University’s vehicles and training aids.

Our Graduate School of Automotive Engineering (Dean- Yong Seok Jo) had a donation ceremony for Kookmin University’s vehicles and training aids with the director of Hyundai Motors Corporation (Byung Wan Yu) in room 226 of the engineering college on the 14th of December.

In this ceremony, Hyundai Motors donated many things such as one of its latest model cars, two engines, and six automatic transmissions to the Graduate School of Automotive Engineering.

Yong Seok Jo, dean of the graduate school, upon accepting the donation said: “We received this achievement in order to apply these donated products for education and study.” Byung Wan Yu, Director of Hyundai Motors replied: “I promise that we will offer continuous support to Kookmin University following this ceremony. Though the donation, we expect the Graduate School of Automotive Engineering to achieve its study and education of automobile technology better than before.”

On the day of ceremony, many school members (President, Sung Woo Lee/ Dean, Yong Seok Jo/ Prof. Chan Muk Kim/ Seung Jin Huh/ Byung Woo Kim/ Ki Hong Park/ Woong Cheol Choi/ Geun Ho Lee/ Yeon Sik Kang) and Hyundai Motors Corporation members (Director, Byung Wan Yu/ Department Head, Joung Duck Na/ Assistant Manager, Joung Hean Kim/ Jung Bae Park/ Jin Wook Kim) were in attendance.
