On Nov. 10th, the Graduate School of Automotive Engineering and Center for Automotive Research of Ohio State University in the U.S. concluded an agreement on academic cooperation including the exchange of research-oriented faculty and students, as well as the increased cooperation in such exchange programs.
Prior to concluding the agreement, Director Giorgio Rizzoni in the Center for Automotive Research and Dean Heo, Seung-jin toured the major lab facilities in the Graduate School of Automotive Engineering and in the afternoon, the measures of exchange cooperation provided by Kookmin University were discussed in the presence of President Lee, Sung-woo.
Professor Rizzoni, who has been known as the authority in the field of electric vehicle, gave a special seminar for the experts interested in the domestic vehicle and parts industry as well as the students from the graduate course. In the seminar he said, "Welcoming the era of electric vehicle in the 21st century, it is important to develop an electric vehicle; however, the successful era of electric vehicle can only be realized once the infrastructure that supports such system is developed as well."
