It intends to support successful startups of future entrepreneurs or businesses in the early stages of establishment by providing support infrastructure.
The Startup Commercialization Support project intends to discover and cultivate future entrepreneurs or new businessmen with promising startup products. For those who are selected in the project, various kinds of assistance are provided such as financial grant for prototype production, technical information activity, and marketing of the product. Other services are also provided to entrepreneurs such as business education to strengthen startup competence, mentoring, and follow-up management.
Do-hyeon Kim, leader of the Startup Support Team said, “Upon its appointment as a startup leading university, Kookmin University has pursued the ‘startup base of the university.’ To support the 22 entrepreneurs that were selected this year and to develop them as innovative entrepreneurs, we will provide them with the university’s physical infrastructure and human resources.”
