Kookmin University (President Yu Ji-Soo) signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Korea-Arab Society (KAS, President Ali Hamad Mubarak) on 3PM, April 17 at the university headquarters.

The MOU is designed to encourage greater interaction and exchange between Kookmin University students and Arab students. The agreement also lays the groundwork for better cooperation in future research, symposiums, and seminars.

The KAS was established in 2008 by related governments, corporations, and organizations in Korea and 22 Arab nations. Its mission is to expand the scope of cooperation from economic issues to politics, culture, and academics so as to foster a better relationship with Arab nations.
